I haven't blogged since Thanksgiving and it is now March so this post contains many events over the last few months. We begin with Brooklyn's 4th birthday which is terribly out of order since it was in February. I uploaded all the pictures and them found another file with some birthday pictures in it.
We had a quiet party for her at home but it was still alot of fun.
Ellie participated in a school talent show. She and a friend, Maddie Weida, clogged. They were the last performance and stole the show.
Brookie covered her body with pillows on the couch and fell asleep. I thought she looked adorable. Only her cute face and a little patch of her buns were sticking out.
Before Christmas we did the annual gingerbread house decorating.
Of course more candy ended up in tummies than on the houses.
Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa Lambert's consists of homemade pizza, chocolate dessert, the reading of Luke 2 and Lowly the Worm and setting out cookies for Santa.
Christmas morning.
This is Emma's school Christmas concert. She is in the middle in the grey dress.
Visiting Santa at the ward party went well. There were no tears or screams.
More Christmas morning. Sorry for the crazy order of pics.
Grandma Dow crocheted these hats for all the girls. They were absolutely adorable.
Too much fun!!
Emma's cheer troupe performed at a high school basketball game. She was very nervous but did great.
One of Ellie and Emma's Christmas presents was tickets to Cirque du Soleil. We were right in front of the stage and they were mesmerized the whole time.
Kyle and I scored these awesome seats to a Nugget game from some friends.
It was great to be so close to the action.
In fifth grade the students do Invention Convention. Ellie invented the "Double Flip" which is a storage container with lids on both sides for easy access. She did a great job.
A few days ago we went to the Butterfly Pavilion. One of the exhibits there is spiders. Emma and Kyle were brave enough to hold Rosie, a 15 year old tarantula. I couldn't even look.
There were so many different kids of beautiful butterflies.
For Spring break we had Grandma and Grandpa Sherwood, Sammie, Mackinley, Binny and Becca come to visit. We did a Denver day where we went to Jumpstreet and then to the Museum of Nature and Science. One of the exhibits was all about snakes.
At the park with cousins. Grandma Sherwood sat in the toilet bowl for a place to sit and started spinning. Of course, when we saw that we kept spinning her.
It was a great week with family visiting. Everyone had a fabulous time.
